Jae Hi Hebler was a high school counselor for six years in the Anne Arundel County Public School system and is currently at Centennial High School. She has been in the Howard County Public School System since 2005. She has worked in the Special Education Department of Anne Arundel County Public Schools as a bilingual interpreter, in the Student Services Department for the Family Involvement Center, and as a Technology Transcript liaison with Pupil Personnel Workers for four years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Education for Guidance and Counseling.
Sue Garner is the school psychologist assigned to both Centennial High School and Glenelg High School. Sue has worked in the Howard County Public School System as a school psychologist for over 35 years, serving elementary, middle, and high schools. Her work as a school psychologist includes consultation with staff and parents, collaboration and training with problem-solving teams, direct interventions with students through individual and group counseling and assessments, and helping to develop prevention and intervention plans to assist students with barriers to academic success. These barriers to academic success can be related to cognitive, behavioral, social, and/or emotional concerns.
